One card teaches the whole family
From early on, a word’s review card is its whole family: three groups in order — Forms (like kebaikan, sebaik, …), Related (compounds built with the word), Challenge (similar, opposite, formal, informal, each labelled with why it’s there). One reveal, one grade, at the end.

The early stage sticks around until the family is reviewed once
A word with a family shows the early stage until that family has been reviewed once, however fast the sense itself is graded. After that it grows normally, by its own memory strength, as today.

A Defer button, and what three defers in a row do
A Defer button sits beside Reveal on the family card. It grades nothing: the word stays due and comes back next sitting. The third defer in a row closes the lesson: the word is marked as grown, but the family still appears with its reviews.

Words with no family to show grow exactly as today
Words with nothing to cluster (phrases, small function words) grow exactly as today — no change for them.

Screen changes Frank asked for this morning
Learn on the left and the check on the right; the check collapses the form and the next one slides up; “Hide Learn” stays on the button row; the root word and each form show at the same size as a normal card’s headword; no Hint button on the family card.

Launch day: a one-time reset for already-grown words
Every word already fully grown that has a family drops back to the early stage until its family is reviewed once. In one test group, 49 of 171 words are affected. A one-line notice on the home screen says why. Nothing about the memory schedule changes; undoing this change restores things exactly as they were.
